Shipping/Receiving Clerk: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Determines method of shipment and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Assembles, packs and binds crates or containers with metal tape. Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
CNC Machinist: Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Assists machine operators as needed. Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, an tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Required Education/Experience: certificate from trade or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Picker: Reads orders, pick lists, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing materials to verify information against orders or other records. Performs necessary paperwork and enters records on computer. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Operates lift trucks, man-lifts, or uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist material to and from the stockroom or work area. Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Welder III: Setup and operate a variety of ferrous welding and grinding equipment including manual, MIG, TIG, and CNC robotic nickel overlay welders as well as coordinate the work of other welders in the department. Position requires handling large parts with cranes and other lifting devices. Required Education/Experience: Certificate from trade or technical school; or ten years of related experience and or/training; or equivalent of education and experience. Possesses knowledge of welding concepts, practices and procedures including the use of safety and protective equipment. ASME Certification desirable. Candidates will be required to prepare and pass a ferrous GMAW multi-pass 1-G flat weld test. Hourly rate: $20-$25
