Sales Engineer: Support Sales and sell manufactured products for manufacturer to water, wastewater, HVAC and industrial entities. Provide technical assistance, prices and quotes projects and interpret technical specifications and do take-offs of valve equipment. Provide strong customer support and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment on technical operation and field application problems and applications of products through assistance to manufacturers’ representatives, engineers, distributors, plant operators, customers, or other professional and technical personnel. Interpret project plans and specifications to develop and prepare cost estimates. Interprets schematics and troubleshoot for customers and sales in offering solutions to issues. Background to include Bachelor's degree with technical study from a four-year college or university. Based out of our Elmhurst location.
Shipping/Receiving Clerk: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Determines method of shipment and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Assembles, packs and binds crates or containers with metal tape. Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift: Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Assists machine operators as needed. Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, an tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. Required Education/Experience: certificate from trade or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
