Available Positions

 

CNC Machinist: Sets up and operates conventional, special purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts. Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Assists machine operators as needed. Installs machined replacement parts in mechanisms, machines, and equipment, an tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance. Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.  Required Education/Experience: certificate from trade or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shipping/Receiving Clerk: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Determines method of shipment and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Assembles, packs and binds crates or containers with metal tape. Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.

Purchasing Manager: Responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and serves and managing vendors. Able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms. Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Assess, manage and mitigate risks. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Determine quantity and timing of deliveries. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration; and related experience as a purchasing manager, agent or officer.

Senior Buyer: Coordinates all activities related to procurement of a commodity beginning with intent to purchase through delivery. Has sufficient knowledge and experience to handle all commodities in the department. Analyzes the requirements of the commodity, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is needed. Solicits and evaluates proposals for the requested commodity. Investigates and/or interviews potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements and approves the use of the supplier. Select and approves vendor tooling and patterns. Negotiates the lowest possible cost for the commodity balances against the optimum quality and schedule needs. Implements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations. Maintains timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices and other documents to assure accurate retention of records. Required Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree; and 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator: Trains employees on the various processes and safety and regulatory requirements. Works with managers, supervisors, manufacturing engineers, design engineers, management, and employees to cultivate a working environment where safety is a primary focus. Prepares composite reports as requested from management. Leads the safety committee and coordinates the use of outside experts to assist in safety projects. Responsible for the proper handling of special and hazardous waste, air permitting, and other regulatory issues. Directs the emergency response team, organizes tornado and fire drills, and arranges CPR training. Encourages an atmosphere of continuous improvement and promotes the use of proper work equipment, materials, and supplies. Maintains the Safety Data Sheets and other worker safety compliance issues, and trains employees in those procedures. Proposes, manages, and implements projects and programs which reduce the OSHA recordable rate and the lost time injury rate. Manages safety training compliance, educates employees on the required topics, and properly records the training. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma and ten years related experience and/or training; or technical certification or completion of apprentice program; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of previous working experience as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator is preferred, and safety certification (CSP, ASP, SMS, OHST, CHST, STS, STSC, CET) would be a plus.

Warehouse Clerk – Addison: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Determines method of shipment and assembles wooden pallets or containers or selects preassembled containers. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Routes items to departments or stock. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Operates a lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Performs cycle counts, determines hits and misses and reconciles inventory data. Performs necessary paperwork and enters records on computer. Required Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
