Available Positions

 

Machinist - 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift:

  • Sets up and operates various CNC machines and machining centers such as drills, lathes, mills, and vertical turret lathes.
  • Performs inspection of parts to assure they are made to print specification, adjust if necessary.
  • Loads/unloads and inspects piece parts from machine and fixture during production run and performs periodic inspections.
  • Required Education/Experience: Certificate from trade or technical school; or six month to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Parts Washer/General Laborer

  • Performs a variety of tasks in the paint department.
  • Loads & unloads parts from skids/crates into the parts washer.
  • Phosphate pressure washes parts that are to be fusion bonded.
  • Assists paint booth operations by cleaning, masking, and preparing parts for the painters.
  • Masks parts for blast operations.
  • Checks washed part to ensure all oil & debris have been effectively removed.

Manufacturing Engineer Technician

  • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and processes. Methods and processes include manual machinery, CNC machinery, assembly, product testing, powder paint, wet paint, material storage and handling, shipping and receiving, plant and office processes and procedures.
  • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Programs CNC equipment and robotic welders, and designs both fixtures and tools to be used on those machines in the manufacturing process.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Vendor Management
  • Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from an accredited college or university in manufacturing technology or engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiar with programming and tooling concepts as they apply to manual and CNC machinery. Able to create and interpret drawings and use the measuring devices needed to determine product conformance to design specifications. Familiar with current manufacturing concepts including manufacturing cells, lean manufacturing, waste reduction, Kanbans, supplier/customer links, lead time reduction.

CNC Supervisor

  • Studies schedules, orders, and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules on assigned work centers.
  • Ensures subordinates are cross trained on multiple machines to ensure that key pieces of equipment will always be in production as scheduled.
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
  • Directly supervises employees in CNC and manual machining, welding, and miscellaneous production processes.
  • Knowledge of CNC programs, including program editing and G & M codes; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Required Education/Experience: High School Diploma and five years related experience and/or training; or technical certification or completion of apprentice program; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Expert-level experience in mill or lathe setup and operation, and a working knowledge of manufacturing methods including metal cutting, tooling, and fixture building.
