Picker - 2nd Shift: Reads orders, pick lists, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing materials to verify information against orders or other records. Performs necessary paperwork and enters records on computer. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Operates lift trucks, man-lifts, or uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist material to and from the stockroom or work area. Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Assembler/Tester - 1st Shift: Assembly and test company products. Reads job information and special customer requirements. Locates tools and fixtures for assembly or testing. Assemble valves and subassemblies per work instructions. Test valves per work instructions. Test accessories (motor actuators, cylinders, etc) as required by specification or special instructions. Perform necessary paper work (labor tickets, inspection sheets, etc). Clean work area. Background to include Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 to 6 months of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of experience, and physical demands.
Painter - 2nd Shift: Operates a spray painter to apply industrial paint finishes to metal products. Reads job information and locates correct tools and materials. Starts paint booth and spray equipment to produce first piece part. Performs inspection of piece part to assure part is made to specification. Makes adjustments as needed to make piece parts conform to paint specifications. Changes process parameters as needed and makes adjustments to painting equipment to assure parts conform to print specifications. Loads and unloads piece parts from fixtures during production run and performs periodic inspections including wet and dry film thickness measurements. Perform paperwork needed (labor ticket, inspection sheet). Cleans work area daily. Background to include training on the operation of paint and blasting processes and the mixing of various painting materials. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of coatings or have 3 to 6 months of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures, including specific safety and protective equipment. This position is at our Addison facility.
