Available Positions

Sales Engineer: Support Sales and sell manufactured products for manufacturer to water, wastewater, HVAC and industrial entities. Provide technical assistance, prices and quotes projects and interpret technical specifications and do take-offs of valve equipment. Provide strong customer support and exercise discretion and sound independent judgment on technical operation and field application problems and applications of products through assistance to manufacturers’ representatives, engineers, distributors, plant operators, customers, or other professional and technical personnel. Interpret project plans and specifications to develop and prepare cost estimates. Interprets schematics and troubleshoot for customers and sales in offering solutions to issues. Background to include Bachelor's degree with technical study from a four-year college or university. Based out of our Elmhurst location.

Production Planner: Coordinates activities to administer the production schedules to meet the production plan and ship company products that meet our customer requirements. Establishes the production schedules, monitors inventory levels, and tracks progress of the production schedule. Reviews factors, which may affect the production, schedules and recommends adjustments. Prepares instructions regarding production planning systems and procedures. Prepares job order information including special requirements and forwards to appropriate plant supervisor and Production Manager. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Requires Associates degree from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiar with production processes. Based out of our Elmhurst location.

Picker: Reads orders, pick lists, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing materials to verify information against orders or other records. Performs necessary paperwork and enters records on computer. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Operates lift trucks, man-lifts, or uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist material to and from the stockroom or work area. Required Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
