One of the many threats to our drinking water supply is known as cross-connection. A cross-connection is the point at which a non-drinking water substance can possibly come in contact with drinking water within the valve vaults.
Val-Matic’s new FloodSafe™ Inflow Preventer is installed on the outlets of air valves and reservoir vents to help prevent contaminated water from entering a potable water pipeline or reservoir.

For additional protection of your vaults, Val-Matic offers the VentSafe™ Security Cage and FrostSafe™ Air Damper. The VentSafe™ is installed in vent pipes to prevent the entrance of animals or foreign objects/liquids from entering the pipe. The FrostSafe™ is also installed in the vent pipe to help prevent freezing.
