Traveling Nut Manual Actuators provide characterized closure which allows the valve to slowly close during the last half of travel to reduce pipeline surges. They are designed to specifically match the torque characteristics of Val-Matic Ener•G^® Ball Valves and Val-Matic American-BFV^® Butterfly Valves.

	Quarter turn manual actuators per AWWA C504 and C507 requirements for plant, buried and submerged service Manufactured under a certified ISO 9001 quality system Lab Tested - 10,000 cycles per AWWA Standards Available in 7 sizes to handle valve torques up to 90,000 ft-lbs Available with Exclusive externally adjustable stops End of travel stops rated to 450 ft-lbs Characterized closure to increase surge protection O-ring sealed housing to prevent leakage External indication of valve position Stainless steel external bolts Integral non-metallic bearing - to eliminate valve shaft side loading Centralizing ACME thread for high efficiency Anti-friction bearings used on all input shafts Levers - Ductile iron for superior strength Self-locking mechanisim to maintain valve position Mounting holes for field mounting and multiple 90° orientations, utilizing multiple keyways for precise positioning Easily adapts to Handwheel, Chainwheel or 2" Nut operation Spur gears available on larger sizes for ease of operation Motor mounting option - FA10 flange & keyway provided
